An Immigration officer is a public servant, who works for the Nigeria Immigration Services. He can also work as an immigration enforcement Agent.
The Nigeria Immigration Services comprises of different departments where individual officers can work, either as an  immigration officer, or as an immigration  enforcement Agent.
Regardless whether an officer is working as an immigration officer or he is working as an enforcement agent, he is a staff of the Nigeria Immigration services.
